Your Sherwood Park ACT visited our friends at @campuseips to get an update on the construction of the garden shed we are raffling off!
“This is a great opportunity to meet and chat with the teachers and students who are going to influence the next generation of tradespeople in our community,” said President Keith Sandmaier. “And we certainly seem to need more tradespeople!”
To help make it easier for students to continue their journey after high school, the Sherwood Park ACT has re-focused the Turk Mahan Scholarship to exclusively support those whose career goals are the vocations not traditionally associated with degree-granting programs.
This year, to help raise the funds needed for the scholarship, we are partnering with Campus EIPS to build and raffle a fantastic 8×8 foot garden shed which we will raffle off on Septepber 12, 2026!
“We were able to meet the terrific teachers, admin staff and the students who are hoping to make a career in the trades! And there were chocolate chip cookies – it was a great day!”
