ACT Sherwood Park Directors
Keith Sandmaier is the current President of the Sherwood Park ACT. He joined the council in 2015, celebrating a decade of service to Sherwood Park and its residents just last year.

Gordon Holm is a past president of the Sherwood Park ACT, a role he filled for many years. Gordon joined in 2012 and was involved in a variety of fundraisers and other activities to bring together people in Sherwood Park in a spitit of community.

Benny Matsson joined the Sherwood Park ACT in 2016 – it’s his tenth anniversary! Whether it’s been marching in parades, coordinating charity bottle drives, shovelling compost into bags under a hot sun, setting up tables for events or completely re-wiring the ACT parade car, Benny has been instrumental in helping us successfully stage a great many community events!
And he can always be counted on to chip in with ideas and different perspectives as we plan for the next big thing!
Barb Wirtz joined the Sherwood Park ACT in 2015 and continues her role as a director into a new term. Barb is one of those thoughtful types – she listens a lot so when she has something to say, we all take notes!
Peter Coutts has been part of the the Sherwood Park ACT since 2017 and brings a depth of expereince running a very successful business, and a deep motivation for helping to his role as a director.
Adam Holm joined just last year and is working with the other directors to update and modernize the council’s operations, and capture the wisdom resident with the membership to ensure it can be passed to the next generation.
