ACT members give their time to raise money and provide direct assistance to charitable organizations.
What We Do

— We Find & Fund
We look for organizations in our community doing good work and we volunteer our time raise money and donate.

— We Build Networks
We partner with other service clubs in Sherwood Park so we can help each other tackle big projects that have transformative effects on our community.

— We Strengthen
We work to amplify the impact of charitable non-profit organizations. This includes making financial donations, supply drives, and other forms of support that help organizations achieve their goals and expand their reach.

— We Educate
In addition to sharing what we learn about our community and its needs, we fund the Al Williams Scholarship which helps young people pursue the education and training they need to realize their dreams.

— We Provide Care
The Sherwood Park ACT has been in
existence for more than 50 years and we take pride in the stories of hope and
transformation that emerge from our contributions. By working closely with a
diverse range of charitable organizations, we ensure that our support is far-reaching and inclusive.

Our members have decades of experience and know what it takes to successfully build better communities. We are happy to share that experience with anyone who shares this same goal.
What We Care About!
Kids Growing Up Free From Violence
Everyone has the right to live free from violence and this is true especially for children and youth. We put our efforts into keeping kids and their parents safe.
Making Sure Everyone Has Food to Eat
Access to food is a basic human right. We are proud to raise funds, collect food and give our time to making sure everyone gets basic nutrition.
Honouring The Legacy of Those Who Came Before
We honour and learn from the legacies of the ones who came before. We are grateful for their contributions and acknowledge their accomplishments.
Creating a Strong Community
A commitment to inclusivity and mutual support is at the heart of what we do. Strong communities look out for one another.
